Here at Crowder & Holloway, our mission statement can be summed up in three words:

Accessible -- Simply stated, to be here for you when you need us, literally. No 'virtual existence' without faces. We offer regular, consistent business hours at a familiar location, conveniently located in downtown South Hill. We're open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and other times by appointment. We offer a place for you to make payments, obtain quotes and consult human beings about your insurance needs.

Responsive -- To return your phone calls promptly, usually within an hour, but always on the same day. To add value to your claims experience by providing the appropriate liaison with your insurance carrier insuring fair and prompt treatment. To provide you with quotes, claim or policy statuses in an equally timely manner. You can trust that we will fulfill our part of the relationship without having to be reminded.

Committed -- To devote our time, talents and resources to our core business: Insurance. We are not involved in real-estate, financial planning or other financial services. Our desire is to be the best at what we do every day. We pledge to do what ever it takes to serve the best interest of our insureds through sound advice, hard work and proper planning.

The Colonial Theatre, depicted here to the right, is currently being restored in the heart of historic, downtown South Hill. Built in 1925, the theater hosted live entertainment and evolved into showing silent movies and later motion pictures.

Crowder & Holloway occupied the second floor suite of the Colonial Theatre for over a decade before moving to its present location in 1958 where it continues its family-owned tradition of serving the communitys insurance needs.

Prior to residing in the Colonial Theatre, Crowder & Holloway had its start in 1936.

The articles below, published in The South Hill Enterprise, depicting our insurance agencys historic beginnings:
